The Palmer Playhouse was a project begun by the Ryan Palmer Foundation in 2009. Ryan and the Foundation have teamed up with Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas, to help with the children staying in the Children's Hospital. The Foundation donated funds to help create two unique rooms inside the hospital.
Children of all ages receive treatment at Northwest Texas Hospital, so the Ryan Palmer Foundation created family-friendly rooms for the kids to enjoy themselves during their stay at the Hospital.
The Palmer Playhouse is filled with toys and activities, while offering kids a chance to feel like they can get away from their daily routine of treatment.
The Palmer Sports Zone is decked out with the latest computers and video games. This gives the kids a chance to have some sense of normalcy.
